Germany Got The Bronze
Germany claimed the WC third place by beating Portugal 3-1. Schweinsteiger scored a brace & he might has a hattrick when his low free-kick diverted into Portugal's goal by Petit for Germany's 2nd goal. Portugal's 1 & only goal also is to be remembered. Figo, on his final appearance for his country, sent over a cross for Nuno Gomes (I think he was also on his final WC appearance) to head past Kahn (he too will retire soon). Now, the finale, Italy vs France. I'll bet on Azzurri to win..but if Zizou & Henry can come with their magical thingy, it will be France...
A bit bout tennis, the 2006 Wimbledon. Amelie Mauresmo won the Ladies' Singles Finals by beating Justine Henin-Hardenne 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. Today, Federer will play against Nadal in the Gentlemen's Singles Finals. It's not a clay court, so I guess Federer will win this.

justine should have won the title if she could convert the break on amelie's serve at 4-5 on the 2nd set..nevertheless..back 2 back Grand Slam final..thats not bad for justine...
as for Nadal..watch out for him in next year's wimbledon..improved a lot on grass..this is his 5th grass tournament ever..cant wait for hardcourt season..
