Near To The End
Arrgghh!!! The last several days I'd been quite busy. No time to watch the WC - the Portugal-France game, no time to update this blog. Anyhow, I'm quite sure the Portugal-France wasn't interesting as the Germany-Italy game. Am I right, huh? And I also quite sure Zizou played better against the Brazilians, than against Portugal. Am I right again? Hohoho.. Ahh whatever lahh.. Belated congrats to the France team for their achievement of reaching the WC finale.
Today, the 2nd last match of the Germany '06 WC will be played. The play-off for third place will see the host team, Germany vs Portugal. Germany will begin without Ballack, Mertesacker & Friedrich. Kahn will replace Lehmann in the goal, maybe to say goodbye, duh! On the other side, the Portuguese will begin without full-back Miguel. Hopefully the Germans will win. Go Deutschland! Ahahaha I suppose not to be bias to any team. Hmmm who cares...!!
OK. Now, local football scene. 8 Malaysia Cup matches will be played tonight, 2nd match for all teams. Still too early to predict which team will go through to the q-finals. A bit tennis news, the 2006 Wimbledon. Today's match will see Amelie Mauresmo vs Justine Henin-Hardenne in the Ladies' Singles Final.
Today's schedules:
World Cup (3rd-Place Play-Off): Germany vs Portugal
Malaysia Cup (Group A): Terengganu vs Selangor
Malaysia Cup (Group A): Sabah vs NS Naza
Malaysia Cup (Group B): Kedah vs TM FC
Malaysia Cup (Group B): Johor FC vs Penang E&O
Malaysia Cup (Group C): Perlis vs PKNS
Malaysia Cup (Group C): Sarawak vs Pahang
Malaysia Cup (Group D): Perak vs Melaka
Malaysia Cup (Group D): DPMM FC vs MPPJ
